Megatron made a derisive noise in the back of his intake. “Don't try and play me for a fool, Prime,” he said. “You can’t seriously tell me you’ve not touched another mech in all these years - ”
Optimus stared off into the darkness. “I haven’t.”
Megatron stopped, the only sound his vents tripping over one another in a peculiar staccato rhythm. “I - what?”
“I haven’t been with anyone else,” Optimus said. He wasn’t sure why he was telling Megatron this; it was uncomfortable and embarrassing and it wasn’t his business anyway, damn him. It wasn't as if he'd gone abstinent willingly.
Megatron made a strangled noise.

The life of a Vehicon is—as they say—exciting and—as a given—short. XL-917 mostly expects to die when chucked through a definitely malfunctioning space bridge, especially when it immediately lands him in the middle of more Autobots than he's ever even seen. Also they're all kinda... off. Uglier than he remembers? All small and square and acting like they don't casually dismember Vehicons every week. He’s pretty sure someone was supposed to have cut him in half at this point—but given they haven’t, it’s probably going to be a bad day.
