Summary
Suho Kim does not quite expect to absorb a stolen divine relic, The Eye of Summer, the moment he enters the body of one Lloyd of the Fronteras, nor did he expect to enter the mer's body to begin with. Because he didn't expect to be thrown into an alternate universe of his favorite novel, The Knight of Blood and Iron, ever. He also does not expect to become a living truce between the Kingdom of Magentano and the Mermaid Kingdom, and he certainly does not expect Javier Asrahan to be the supervisor of his little pool in the Palace. What is it, with all of his expectations for how life goes being completely off base?
Initially content to simply live off this cushy life of free food, Lloyd learns, soon enough, that his lifespan has been horrifically cut short by the absorption of The Eye of Summer, and if he wishes to live a long and comfy life, he'll have to get to work and build some reputation first and foremost.
With just how intent Javier seems on staring at him, perhaps Lloyd can simply farm RP by interacting with the man...

It's not the size of the apartment, not even a quarter of Suho's room back on the Frontera estate, nor the walls covered in streaks of dirt, with corners gathering dust, that shocks Javier. Instead, all over the walls, nearly falling off the desk, crammed onto the surface of the bed, leaned against the wall and half-covering the window...
"That's...me," Javier says slowly.
Suho fidgets nervously on the spot. "Mhm."
Javier stares at the room. His own face stares back, a million pairs of identical blue eyes glaring daggers and sending chills straight to his soul.

He wakes. He wakes to something far worse than a nightmare. He wakes to a voice that rings within his ears every time he takes a whiff of alcohol. He’s heard it every night for years upon years except now it is far worse than a memory. This is reality.
His jaw clenches, the slightest tremble in his hands growing stronger and stronger as the man steps closer.
“Oi,” his tone is different, Javier notes, older, somehow even more irritating and- maybe he really is delusional for thinking this -concerned, “I’m being serious, are you alright?”
He grips his sword.
Maybe this really is an illusion after all.
