A small smile. “I know. I don’t expect any reciprocation, if that’s what you’re worried about. I just thought you deserved to know.”
Six months later, he watches out of the corner of his eyes as Shouto laughs at Katsuki’s jabs. He watches the little dimples appear in his soft cheeks and the new crinkles in his eyes form, and feels something warm and familiar unfurl behind his ribs.

A hush fell across the table. Nervous eyes averted their gaze to the wall, others looked at him pitifully, and Katsuki’s red eyes locked onto him seriously.

After a decade of missed opportunities and almost confessions, Izuku returns from a mission abroad to the news that Shouto is engaged. During the course of the wedding planning, Izuku is faced with the reality of possibly losing the man he loves for good while Shouto is forced to come to terms with the fact that his feelings for Izuku may not be as dead as he wishes they were.

But dog sitting was a close second to international glory, especially when Sakusa had never afforded the privilege to anyone short of a professional or blood relative before.
“Not even Ushiwaka?” Atsumu had asked, dumbfounded, when Sakusa shared this bit of anxiety, nervously fidgeting inside Atsumu’s door with a duffel slung over his shoulder and a suitcase at his feet.
