“Get up, we need to put the sheets on,” Ken nudged him with his foot.
James ignored him, closing his eyes and exhaling towards the ceiling. “Who needs sheets? I’ll just sleep like this.”
The mattress beside him dipped and then there was a familiar weight straddling his hips. He cracked one eye open. Ken was leaning over him, hands flat on either side of his head and hips settled fully against his own. There was a wry smile playing at the corners of his mouth as he leaned closer. “For this.”
“Or... we could just do things that won’t get the mattress messy.”
“Such as?” Ken tilted his head at him.
James throws down a gauntlet and Ken responds in kind.
