Whispers and exclamations spread through Ghost City, the ground shaking at random intervals with enough force to threaten toppling some of the weaker buildings. The newer ghosts were panicked, muttering to each other in fear, wondering if they were going to die a second time, while those who had been in the city for longer knew the source of the tremors — the ghost kings were fighting again.
Hua Cheng provokes He Xuan into a little sparring match for fun, always enjoying how it looks when it let itself be unrestrained. He just didn't expect he'd be the one shoved facedown into the dirt at the end of it.
