For approximately one hour, this was excellent news.

As it turns out, the hot older stranger you’d been shamelessly flirting with is the groom’s father’s best friend. He’s known your future brother-in-law since he was born. He’s practically family.
Which means, according to Jack, whatever is happening between you needs to stop.
You agree.
Obviously.
Except there are still three days until the wedding, you’ve already caught him staring at your mouth more than once, and every time you push, Jack seems a little less interested in doing the responsible thing.
So really, this is starting to feel like his problem.

So try to forgive me if I have characters make decisions or behave in ways they never would in the comics, cartoons, or movies.
