When Juvia secretly announces her 'pregnancy' to some of the girls in the guild, Natsu couldn't help but overhear, and neither could Gajeel, apparently. His taunt towards Natsu brings out a competitive urge, and Natsu couldn't help but become frustrated that his relationship with Lucy is going way too slowly compared to everyone else's.
Unfortunately for Lucy, she doesn't know she's even in a relationship.
