“I have no fucking clue,” Trinity said.
She didn't even know Garcia had people like that. Ten months and Trinity could count on one hand the things she actually knew about Garcia's life outside of her apartment. She'd never asked. Hadn't wanted to know, she had told herself. Casual. Clean.

Mel smiles at her. “A game. I like that. Maybe… if you do something nice for me, I’ll show you the rest of my tattoos.”
Trinity thinks she might just spontaneously combust in this damn parking lot. If Mel was literally anyone else, anyone else, she’d be reading this so differently. But Mel is so earnest and genuine that the words coming out of her mouth don’t even sound suggestive in her tone.
“I think I prefer guessing. Fine. Whatever. Tit for tat, literally. You’re just doing this so that you get something out of it.”
“Very literally conditioning you to be nice to me, yes,” Mel says with a confirming head nod. “But it wouldn’t work if you weren’t getting something out of it.”
OR
Trinity finds out that Mel has eight tattoos. Mel agrees she will show them to her under one condition. They fall in love along the way.

Summary
Trinity moved to intercept, but it was too late. His hand managed to grab a hand full of the nurse's hair before yanking her back and toward his arms. For a moment, Trinity thought he would succeed. That the man would manage to get the nurse into his arms. But despite everything — the strength, the pain, the lack of air — the nurse fought, yanking her own head forward before reaching for Trinity with teary eyes.
“Hu—“ She coughed. “Hoop—“
An action that lasted a second. A mere second, but felt like forever. Trinity knew at that moment that she would never be able to forget those big, scared brown eyes. Tearfilled, as they looked at Trinity with desperation.
It didn’t matter that Langdon had gotten away with endangering patients and stealing drugs. That Garcia had thrown her own words back at her and it had stung. That she might repeat her R2 year before even starting it.
It didn’t matter that this man was bigger, stronger, and angrier than her. A hand had clasped her own, digging their nails into her wrist with desperation.
Nothing mattered except protecting this nurse.

Summary
Trinity knows it’s not a good idea, but following orders is the only thing on her mind. As gently as she can, she grabs an ankle.
She is immediately rewarded with a swift kick to her side. It knocks the air right out of her and she stumbles back, shocked. Pain explodes near her ribs, sharp and blinding.
Langdon is oblivious. “A little help in here!” is yelled toward the corridor.
Trinity can’t get her breath back. She gasps for non-existent air and lurches forward again unsteady on her feet, gripping the rails of the bed to keep herself upright. It feels like it takes forever for the air to rush in. Several long moments where she’s gasping desperately, where the pounding of her heart and the splitting pain eclipses the beeping monitors, the screaming man.

Trinity takes a kick to the side and some bullshit from Langdon. Garcia is there to make it all better.
