Description:In Galahdian there was a legend, about the first coeurl on the island.
How the first Ulric had found them, protected them from another predator and in turn earned their respect.
How this bond granted them a gift from Ramuh, for the coeurl to become human, for the human to become coeurl.
To walk in each other’s footsteps and always guide each other back to their original forms.
The two weren’t soulmates, as Nyx’s mother told it, but the legend had changed and waned over the years so maybe they were or had been.
Either way, the Ulrics still carried that blessing.
Until their very end.
Or,
What happens when the last Ulric is left with no bonds for his magic to hold onto.
In one he remains human, and it's slowly breaking him.
In the other, he exists as the coeurl, forgetting his human half nearly entirely.
Neither lets him be whole.
There's one possible solution.
A soulmate bond, can function the same as an Ulric family member's bond.
