Finding out he can shapeshift is not nearly as exciting as Atreus imagined it to be. It hurts a lot more than you’d think, actually, even without the addition of someone trying to kill you. He almost misses back when “being a god” meant nothing more than the vague idea of extra power buried deep inside him.
Can he bury it again? He wants to bury it again.
