Summary
Months after the Losers defeat Pennywise, Richie thinks he's doing fine—until he starts having panic attacks that leave him feeling small, scared, and vulnerable.
One evening, after Richie accidentally regresses in Eddie's arms during a particularly bad nightmare, he's terrified Eddie will think he's "too much." Instead, Eddie naturally slips into the role of caregiver. He's organized enough to keep a basket filled with coloring books, stuffed animals, pacifiers, juice boxes, and sensory toys "just in case." Richie teases him relentlessly about the labeled storage bins when he's big but secretly feels safer knowing Eddie has planned for every bad day.
