    “You are a good and comely man. It’s not unusual, in wartime, for brothers-in-arms to find solace in each other when willing women are few and far between.”

    Dunk’s breath hitches in that barrel chest. Tentatively, Dunk’s fingers tug at the bottom of Gwayne’s shirt — at the ballooning edge that’s tucked into his leathers. A small victory.

    “I know,” Dunk responds balefully. “I’ve had my cock down another man’s throat before. Just wasn’t expecting someone like you to proposition me. No offense.”
