”Two weeks,” Kirishima repeated.
Two weeks to pack up two years of friendship, of inside jokes, of late-night training sessions and silent, wordless conversations no one else could have.
Two weeks to figure out how to live in a world without him.
Kirishima’s throat tightened. He wanted to say don’t go. Wanted to shout it. To grab Bakugo by the wrist, to drag him back inside, to make him stay.
But he didn’t.
Because Bakugo’s mind was made up. And what right did he have to ask him not to chase what he thought he needed?
So Kirishima smiled. Bright and sharp and brittle.
"Guess I’ll have to climb those mountains on my own, huh?"
