Set after the events of Endgame, Bucky confesses his love to Steve, but that's still not enough to make him stay, leaving Bucky alone and doubtful.
Sam decides to help him, but maybe he will realize too late that it wasn't just Steve's abandonment that hurt his friend.

Alternate Universe – Modern Setting
What if Geralt wasn’t a witcher, but a survivor of a cult that used him like a weapon and stole his childhood? And what if, after a series of events, he now is Ciri’s father?
What if Jaskier wasn’t a bard, but a musician whose charm and chaos mask years of quiet suffering, hunger, fear and wounds he never learned to name? And what if he now happened to be Ciri’s scout leader?
A realistic universe in analogy to the original one, where Geralt and Jaskier learn slowly how to trust, open up and be heard.
This story is currently on hiatus since I haven't been interested in the Witcher lately, I've already planned the chapters, so I'll finish it sooner or later. In the meantime, I'll focus on writing about other fandoms that interest me at the moment :)
