Rocky had followed him on his hapless walk to the bathroom. "What wrong, question?" he asks, curtain shifting as he rolls up close. Grace had shut it for a facsimile of privacy, although it was a futile endeavor with a roommate who could passively sense every nook and cranny of the ship.
“New word,” he says, letting his shirt fall down. The brush of fabric against his skin feels like barbed wire. “Shingles.”

Summary
Grace has many Earth sayings that Rocky has grown fond of. To use one of his most favorite, in Rocky’s defense, he had assumed that humans, due to their unfortunate condition of being extraneously fleshy and containing concerning amounts of liquid, were being dramatic, as humans often are, about the impact of small scale penetration for slightly extended periods of time. But Rocky loves his Grace very much and likes giving him nice things, so he intends to uncover the truth for himself.
Upon further investigation, he fears the humans were not, in fact, being dramatic.

Or, Rocky figures out what a butt plug is, decides to secretly test run one on himself to figure out how to eventually put it in Grace, and gets his shit wrecked, in that order.
