Summary
As much as he’s usually sceptical of seemingly impossible solutions, Tubbo has been making a real habit of inventing them lately. Phil hadn’t expected him to be any more interested than the usual apprentice — clocking in, getting the job done and learning the spells Phil puts in front of them, clocking out — and yet here they are.

Lark: right exactly and then she gave me a LOOK about it. like “here he goes again” when the captain was talking about the mission. and ohh
Lark: am i screwed forever
percival vi: You’re a little bit screwed forever but tbh more because of the mission than this 🤔
The ship is headed straight through a pair of binary stars, sure, but that's not really what Lark is worried about here.

When Bacon comes back, it doesn't feel as though he was meant to quite yet.

Summary
Bacon is a journalist with an unsuccessful magazine column. Squiddo, Spoke, Jumper, and Ash form a popular rock band who have never before done an interview. Naturally, when Bacon happens to run into them on the planet he's staying at, the only reasonable step is to break into their ship and finally get a decent scoop.
Between alternating sections of in-universe writing and flying-through-the-universe prose, the band becomes fond of their stowaway and their stowaway begins to uncover their slightly unexpected backstories.
And, of course, it's all set in space.

Summary
[The notice boards begin displaying information about curfews, designed to protect the citizens at night. People are allegedly trying to stop their ruler's communication with the demon, but nobody seems to be sure how to go about it. Lord Sausage seems impeturbed by the demon, and his advisors don't seem to be trying to stop him from talking to them. Protests begin on the streets, but nothing is changed. The corruption is as present as ever, and the demon is spotted in the empire almost daily now.
