Summary
"Kaveh."
After a week of not being able to utter the name, the sound of it feels like coming home. He rolls the syllables on his tongue and feels like liquid warmth they leave behind. Ka-veh. He could live his whole life uttering just his name, and nothing else.
What a terrible thing, to be stained with someone's existence so thoroughly. What a wonder.
Alhaitham welcomes Kaveh home.

Kenma's job as the King of Hell comes with it's pros and cons. It's biggest advantage is that now that he is King, no one can interrupts his peace. Or at least no one should be able to disturb his peace, but apparently that's not true because one moment he's in his office, playing on his Nintendo Switch, and the next he's standing in someone's summoning circle.
Hinata is broke and in desperate need of Portugese classes. He decides summoning a demon is the only way to go about it.

Summary
I wait for the airlock to close before I explode. "Grace, you will not believe the day I just had. I had to work with stupid 𝅘𝅥𝅮𝅘𝅥𝅘𝅥 of all people! Yes, my arch nemesis, that 𝅘𝅥𝅮𝅘𝅥𝅘𝅥. It's still an asshole. Actually, no. Somehow it's even more of an asshole now! It—" only then I remember that Grace no longer uses its translator. I tilt my carapace to bump into it lightly. "Speaking too fast? Apology. Rocky forgot Grace still speaks Eridian like child. Will speak slowly from now on."
Grace sleeps. Rocky watches, and waits.

Summary
When I wake up, the phantom stench of burning flesh follows me out of the dreamland and stays for a few minutes. For that short, blessed period of time, I am at peace. I am warm and sated.
Of course, it fades eventually. Then the shivering starts all over again.
Or: Grace starves in more ways than one.

Summary
The coat remains across the room. Entirely ordinary.
And yet his attention keeps returning to it. To Wriothesley removing it without hesitation. To the brief brush of his hands near Neuvillette’s shoulders. To the warmth trapped inside the lining. To goodnight, Neuvillette, spoken with that impossible softness Wriothesley sometimes allows into his voice when no one else is near enough to hear it.
Neuvillette turns onto his side. He should return the coat tomorrow.
Of course he should. That is the sensible thing. The courteous thing.
His eyes drift once more toward the armchair. Tomorrow, he decides. And because Neuvillette has spent centuries believing himself to be a creature of remarkable self-discipline, he does not yet recognize this for what it is.
Or, Wriothesley offers warmth without asking for anything back, and Neuvillette does not know what to do with that.

Summary
Five times Neuvillette offered Wriothesley something that, to a dragon, could only possibly mean love (involving a sapphire from beneath the northern sea, his own scent, a contented purr, food chosen specifically for him, and a place within his nest). And one time Wriothesley finally understood the language Neuvillette had been speaking.

Summary
“Tooth,” he admitted.
The guy looked at him like he had made an awful joke. “...Tooth?”
“Yes!” he yelled, exasperated. “I need teeth to do my magic.”
Being a tooth fairy isn't easy, especially when you are crushed under a great debt to teeth loan sharks. Thankfully, Kaveh has crossed paths with this annoying vampire with impeccable regeneration ability.
