DR. THOMPKINS:

STEPHANIE:
(tightens her grip on the pen) Did she? Or was she just making sure—
DR. THOMPKINS:
(interrupting) She cares for you.
Discouraged and feeling unappreciated, Steph leaves the mask life behind to continue her life. She pursues a nursing degree like her mom, and is working in Dr. Thompkins's clinic.
She didn't think anyone missed her, but then Cass comes searching for her to apologize. And Steph can never turn away from Cass.

“So we were talking,” Dick continued, gesturing between him, Barbara, and Bruce. “And thought, hey! We have plenty of room to make a small stage here. So why not have a play of our own?”
Jason could only stare at them, bewildered. Barbara was flipping through the script with quick, analytical eyes, Alfred lingering around the props to make sure they were perfect, and Dick watched Jason with hopeful eyes.
Jason brings his gaze back to Bruce, who has a fond smile, and curls the papers closer to his chest. “You guys would really do that? For, for me?”
Or, Jason never had a chance to show his parents his developing interests in stage plays or theater. But with the Bats? It's something they're more than happy to participate in

Summary
Tim fidgets with the ends of his hair as Steph and Cass step back, his feet tapping on the ground as he waits for their final verdict. Cass approaches him, slow but sure, as if she has finally put the final piece of the puzzle together. She grabs his hand, leading him to the vanity.
She stands behind him, hands on his shoulder, ensuring he looks at their reflections as she emphasizes her next words. “You’re beautiful, Tim. A beautiful girl.”
Or, Tim has always been in denial about who he is. But when he needs to dress as a girl for an undercover mission, Cass realizes her truth, and makes sure she can't escape from it anymore.

Kon stares at him, fingers tapping at his knees. He stills as Tim’s attention narrows at the movement, eyes furrowing in thought, laughter quieting as he thinks.
Then, to Kon’s amusement, his eyes dilate. “I have an idea.” Tim leans over Kon, practically on his lap if Kon were to tug on his belt loops. “A fun idea. I think you’ll like it.”
Kon smirks as he moves his hands to Tim’s waist and under his shirt, resting on the small of his back. “I’m sure I will.”

Or, Kon notices that Tim is having a Joker Jr episode when Tim has an idea of how to handle it, one that Kon is more than happy to participate in.

“We will be climbing down and then up,” Damian decides, given the evidence.
“No, Damian,” she says, and starts off walking, forcing him to come after her as the rope tugs taut. He chews on his lip behind his gator, cringing and trapped by his mistake. Survivalist exercise? Or maybe navigation? Some sort of test? He can’t afford to be wrong again.
“There shouldn’t be any crevasses,” Ommi says into the silence, “but if I start to fall, cut your rope immediately. Understood?”
“Then I can’t stop your fall,” he argues. She gives him a look, just the briefest glance over her shoulder. “Understood.” They crunch on for a minute. “I could rescue you, Ommi.”
“No.” The word clouds the air, just briefly. “You will preserve your own life only. You should think of saving your breath, it’s a long way down.”
That’s not an order, however, so he’s free to push. “We are leaving the compound.” She doesn’t reply. Damian squirms for a moment, trying to find a way to ask that requires no question at all. “We have a destination already in mind.”
“Yes,” Ommi says, finally. “Gotham.”

Summary
He knows he's not a Kokiri.
He's been in the forest as long as he can remember; they've been in the forest as long as they can remember. He can run through the trees, get lost in the mist for days at a time while eating the little mushrooms and berries he finds along the way, wandering his way home eventually, same as them. He loves the sun and cannot eat meat or tell a lie, and the fairies flock to him the way they do the others. And if he asks them, he is no different.
He has no fairy. It hurts, sometimes, to know.

Summary
It's been a few months since the Champions have started working together. Link has since warmed up to everyone, especially Revali, the Rito Champion.
As the months go on, the two of them grow ever closer, teaching each other about their different cultures and learning more about one another. During this time, something starts to change between them.Got Honorable Mention in Kumoricon 2018's FanFic Contest!!
