Summary
This was just an ordinary mission, nothing too special. Their task was to fly to a space ship above Coruscant to rescue Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, who was captured by the cyborg General Grievous. What could even possibly go wrong?
(Or shortly: Anakin and Obi-Wan get caught in the strange barrier, very TIGHTLY to each other and it all goes wrong fast)

Summary
Self-awareness and control were among Lex Luthor's many strong suits, and he knew that allowing himself to sink into obsession yielded great results.
But what he couldn't understand was why his focus was being torn between taking down Superman, an alien threat, and coveting the attention of Clark Kent, a Midwestern journalist.
Or why his fixation on Clark was threatening to consume him whole.

Summary
“You... came here to kill me.” Anakin murmurs, his blue eyes search Obi-Wan's and he can't help but flinch at that.
Then a painful looking grin rips across Anakin's face, cracks and splits it in two like the platform did, and something uneasy stirs in Obi-Wan's chest as the boy continues. “Yet you saved me. You can't kill me. Even after everything I've done... Master, you still love me? Still want me?”
Something has changed, in the way Anakin's eyes burn into his. Something is different. For the first time on this dreadful day, Obi-Wan truly feels fear.
Obi-Wan Kenobi was prepared to kill Darth Vader. He wasn’t prepared to find Anakin Skywalker. Blue eyes, a broken heart, and a hunger that doesn’t fade with love or loss. When the fires of Mustafar claim Padme, it also erases the last clear line between them. In a fatal moment of hesitation, Obi-Wan loses his saber, his freedom, and perhaps his future. Because Anakin has lost everything. Except him.
This time, in a galaxy where the twins are never born and Padme lost, Anakin returns with more than a scorched victory. The one prize he won't let go of. Can't let go of.
Grief binds them tighter than hope ever did.
