Summary
Eddie sucked in a deep breath as Buck turned toward her, scissors in hand and that hopeful expression on her face shining even brighter. Objectively, she was a complete mess—her ruined hair, rumpled clothing, and blotchy, tear-stained face. Subjectively… well, subjectively, Eddie had never seen anything more beautiful in her life.
Maybe the realization should have felt like a shock, but instead it felt like slotting the very last puzzle piece into place—easy, compared to the struggle of fitting all the other pieces together, and satisfying in a cozy, homey sort of way.
She loved Buck. She was in love with Buck.
And wasn’t that what it all came down to, really? The fight about Theo, the uncertainty of whether she was allowed to step into the place in Buck’s life that felt right, and the fear underneath it all that, at the end of the day, neither of them were really hers.Through Theo's misguided attempt to become a hairdresser, Buck and Eddie finally figure it all out.

Summary
“We should have more kids,” Eddie blurts out. “As many as we can.”
Buck groans loudly, his hands flying up to grasp hold of Eddie’s hips. “Don’t say that,” he pleads, tears pooling in his eyes. “Don’t… not if I can’t have it.”
“You can have it,” Eddie assures him, bending down to kiss Buck thoroughly. “All of it. I’ll have this baby, and then you’ll have a few, and we’ll see about adding a second story to this house, and then—”
Buck surges up to meet him this time and they kiss, messy and desperate, as he guides Eddie’s hand to his cock. “Why wait?” he pants when he lets his head fall back, thrusting his hips up clumsily. “We could… we could do all of it together. Right now.”
It’s a crazy idea. Insane, maybe. Impractical, definitely. But all the blood in Eddie’s body is currently being redirected to his groin, so maybe it’s the best idea anyone’s ever had.
As Buck is going into heat, Eddie reveals that he's pregnant. Eddie has some complicated feelings about it, so Buck promises to help him in whatever way he can. And what better way to help than by going through the exact same thing? After all, they do everything else together...Series

Summary
“It’s too much,” Buck whispers, his body tensed like it’s ready to snap. “Losing Bobby. Losing you. Feels like… like everything is falling apart. I don’t… I can’t do it.”
“I get it,” Eddie says. He tightens his hold on Buck, thumb searching until it finds the pulse thrumming in his neck. Buck’s heart is still beating. He hasn’t lost him, not yet, and he can fix whatever’s broken between them—will fix it, no matter the cost. “But what does that have to do with Tommy?”
Buck’s jaw shifts, his hands clenching and unclenching at his sides. “It’s the only time the thoughts stop. When he… when he…” he stiffens, trying to pull away, but Eddie can’t have that. With his free hand, he snags a handful of Buck’s shirt.
“Say it,” Eddie whispers, jealousy and misery and desperation all curling together in his gut.
It doesn’t matter that he has no right to claim Buck as his. It doesn’t matter that following his impulses never leads to anything good. All that matters is that Buck is here with him right now, and Eddie isn’t going to let him go.In an alternate universe, Buck goes back to Tommy after losing Bobby. Eddie finds out and they fight while trying to process their grief.

Summary
When he gets to the guest bedroom — now transformed into Theo’s room — the door is slightly ajar, and Buck tiptoes forward to peek inside. The night light on the wall glows bright enough for him to see the brand new race car bed in the corner, where Theo is sprawled out across Eddie’s chest. They both appear to be fast asleep, books strewn across the floor next to them, and one of Eddie’s fingers held tight in Theo’s tiny hand.
The sight make Buck’s heart ache with a tangled knot of longing. He wants… well, he wants too much. He should focus on being grateful for this: the way Theo has taken to Eddie right away, instinctively aware that he’s someone who can be trusted. He’s already built a habit of trailing after Eddie like a shadow with a look of awe on his little face that Buck finds highly relatable.
And the way Eddie is with Theo — steady and kind and endlessly patient — makes Buck feel like the luckiest person in the world, just getting to be there witnessing it.Buck watches Eddie with Theo and decides maybe they should all move in together about it. It just makes logistical sense, after all.

Summary
Buck blinks hard, but the scene in front of him doesn’t change.
There’s a new soft swell to Eddie’s stomach, still small but large enough that it must take some effort to hide it under his clothes. His hand is resting there, almost cradling it, and Buck is transfixed.
He drags in a ragged breath. It could be nothing. Maybe Eddie had an abnormally large lunch, or maybe he gained a few pounds from the more sedentary work he did in El Paso. Either could be a reasonable explanation for the change in Eddie’s body.
But Buck also remembers the secret Eddie whispered to him here in this room, in the dim light of the early morning. With their bodies still tangled together, Eddie’s face had gone tight and cautious as he apologized for not telling Buck sooner that he was a carrier — information that had been largely irrelevant in his life before that moment.
And that means…
Is Eddie pregnant?Eddie comes back from Texas with a secret.

Summary
"Okay," Buck eventually says. "Okay, just to confirm—I just gave you butterflies, right?"
"Affirmative," Eddie snorts.
"A-and you liked it?"
"Correct."
"And now you want—"
"To kiss you."
"Whoa."
OR Buck wants to train Eddie not to take flirting so seriously, miscalculates, and instead has them both spiraling over butterflies for the rest of the night.

Summary
"So," Buck says, leaning a hip on a locker and making Eddie groan. "You really don't like ruts?"
"I told you, it's not that I don't like them--"
"-- you're just not excited for them, blah blah blah." Buck raises an eyebrow. "Eddie. I know you. That's Eddie-speak for I don't like ruts."
Eddie doesn't particularly care for his ruts. Buck tries to fix this. Somehow, a knot-cage gets involved.

Summary
"Buck, none of this looks like any kind of dryhumping, because we're using our hands." Eddie said with a sigh. "I think you're just hyping up something that shouldn't be hyped up that much."
"Well, here, show me on my leg what you do, then." Buck said then, bringing one of his legs up to lay on the couch, his foot smacking into Eddie's thigh. Eddie stared down at it with wide eyes.
"You want me to—what?" He looked up at Buck, then back down at Buck's leg. "Show you how I—what?"
Either Buck just told Eddie to hump his leg, or two beers was going to be Eddie's limit from now on, for the rest of his life.
"Just real quick." Buck replied, waving his hands. "I'll be able to tell if you're doing it wrong. Trust me, your future girlfriend will thank me when you learn how to, uh, how to do it right." He said.
OR
Eddie admits to Buck that he's never enjoyed dryhumping. Buck offers to teach him how to do it properly.
