    …what do you want to bet that at least one clone - let’s say Rex, for the sake of argument. Purely as a random example! (wink wink cough cough) - has a knot of hair as a lover’s token from a Jedi.

    (Copper-red, of course. Was there ever any doubt?)

    He raises the resulting clone as his own child - his and his lover’s both.

    Thus is born the Teeny Tiny Mandalorian Kenobis universe.

    After a brutal qi deviation in Ling Xi caves, Liu Qingge is not only surprised that he survived, but that Shen Qingqiu was the one that saved him. Not only that, but the Qing Jing Peak Lord’s behavior was strange – he knew things he otherwise shouldn’t, and he insisted on bonding with Liu Qingge. Despite every test suggesting that there wasn’t any possession from ghosts or demons, Liu Qingge knew something was wrong.

    The reveal that Shen Qingqiu had been replaced, but not by a malevolent entity, wasn’t that much of a surprise.

    With this mysterious entity who saved his life requesting his aid in protecting the sect from future threats, Liu Qingge has to decide whether or not he wants to risk trusting this stranger. Especially with the warning of a potential demonic raid against the sect while it is vulnerable.

    Xiang Fei can’t believe he was stupid enough to keep the chapter draft open. He especially can't believe he was that reckless in front of one the few people who, apparently, knows about Proud Immortal Demon Way. Not to mention that Shen Yuan is crazy hot. Xiang Fei can see his obituary now: local man, age twenty, died from sheer fucking embarrassment after a hot guy read his porn.

    "Xiang Fei, this is..." Shen Yuan's lips purse, and Xiang Fei feels his soul leave his body. "...really fucking good."

    What.

    "I was kinda worried at first,” Shen Yuan admits. "Most people who write this sort of thing are basement-dwelling incels or those sisters from the forums who—“ his cheeks flush steadily pinker, and it stunlocks Xiang Fei so completely that it takes everything else a second to register.

    Wait. Fanfiction?

    During a group project gone wrong (right?), Shen Yuan and Xiang Fei stumble into a situation where they're being graded on PIDW fanfiction. Between fandom discourse, overpriced coffee, terribly-organized conventions, they stumble their way into what might just be the closest friendship either of them have ever had. Go figure.

    It was two years after Shen Qingqiu's most recent Qi deviation, and to his relief, he hadn’t noticed any real repercussions! There was thankfully nothing amiss; well... nothing worth any true concern, at least.

    Perhaps he was having some difficulty sleeping and eating, perhaps his awareness of time was a bit spotty with his exhaustion; perhaps he kept losing track of what he was doing and saying in his distractions, perhaps his emotions seemed to fluctuate and shift in dramatic swings... Well, none of that was unexpected, was it? He was tired, and used to having a personal disciple helping and staying by his side... and now that his disciple was off training, well.

    So what if he was perhaps a little bit lonely - a little bit sad, a little bit irritable - it was only a matter of time until Luo Binghe returned. Once his favorite disciple is back from his training trip, then everything will go back to exactly the way it was before, and Shen Qingqiu will be completely alright.

    ...Right?

    Well! In the meantime, thank you for asking, but he's perfectly fine! Please move along, there's no need for your concern!

    The first time Luo Binghe lays hands on Xin Mo, he meets his doppelganger, this other perfect copy of himself. The copy is like an imperfect mirror, identical in all but some undefinable way. Softer, kinder, and he adores Luo Binghe. Luo Binghe hates - he hates this copy who looks like him, who is kind when he should be cruel, who treats Luo Binghe as something special.

    More than anything, he hates that he wants to be like that other 'Luo Binghe'.
