Summary
Guinevere Hart is a responsible doctor.
She likes rules, order, and properly documented differential diagnoses. She keeps her patients well charted, her area regulated, and her hair neatly pinned into its braided bun. She has absolutely earned her nickname: Queenie. Unfortunately, she also likes arguing with her attending far more than is probably healthy.
Jack, meanwhile, is slowly discovering that “work wife” jokes stop being funny when you start thinking about actual rings.
A slow burn medical romance featuring trauma surgery, mutual pining, weaponized banter, and several professional boundaries hanging on by a thread.

Whitaker goes to visit Emily Werner, the tib-fib replantation, and runs into Doctor Park. Maybe he's exhausted, maybe he's lost his mind, but "fight or flight" is an understatement when he calls the Shark an asshole.

Summary
“I’ll admit him upstairs. Recommend an ablation within 48 hours.”
“You have a talent for saying what I’m already thinking.” Jack said.
Her dark eyes fixed on him then. Really fixed on him. Without the chaos of the erratic monitor, without the rush of stabilizing the patient, there was a quiet intensity to her gaze that sent a slow tingle down his spine. She gave him a slow, deliberate once-over, taking her time, her smile shifting into something nearly predatory.
“In that case, I’d better not say the next thing I’m thinking.” Her voice dipped, low and almost conspiratorial. “Might get us both in trouble.”
Jack’s pulse skipped again. From anyone else, that kind of directness would have felt reckless, maybe even arrogant. But from her, Jack found himself oddly charmed, utterly defenseless.
Or.... Jack Abbot's adventures in romance, with as many reverse tropes thrown in as author can fit.
