Summary
"Sweetling—" Baelor started, he sounded so desperate.
"Don't." Maekar snapped back, but he sounded frightened, so frightened. Myriah could not understand why. He had always been brave, her little boy. Had they hurt him so bad? He then opened the door and went inside dragging his son behind him.
Baelor just stood there, his arm still extended. His eyes were glassy and he looked so rejected. Daeron sobbed behind her, and Myriah wanted to cry with him but she had no tears left in her. Daeron knelt on the ground, his hand trying muffle the sobs as tears ran down his face. She knelt in front of him slowly as her aching knees would allow and pulled him into her arms. Maekar was just in front of her and now he was gone.
Myriah's prayers had been answered. She will be getting her son back.
