“I’m vegan–”
“I know vegans who eat at least three meals a day and snack,” Ian cuts him off, tapping the surface of the table, to emphasize it.
“Oh, yea? Name one other person who you know is vegan,” Anthony challenges him, a glint to his darkened eyes. At Ian’s sudden button-lipped behavior, Anthony huffs at him. “I thought so.”
“Okay, so I don’t know any other vegans, but still, man, they do eat,” Ian stresses. “You hardly sleep, you hardly eat. I don’t know how you haven’t collapsed.”
“Copious amounts of cocaine,” Anthony finally says and Ian gives him a deadpan stare. “What? You asked.”
“And you wouldn’t share?” Ian asked him, miffed.
“It’s expensive,” Anthony indifferently shrugs.
“You’re such a frugal bitch, there’s no way,” Ian protests and finally, Anthony cracks and smiles at him, entirely too amused about their banter. Ian huffs out a soft laugh and finishes his beer. “Whatever, don’t tell me your weird cheat code for how you’re living like this, without just keeling over.”
“Trust me, you’d be miserable,” Anthony says, somewhat absentmindedly.
It's a statement that makes Ian's determination to get to bottom of Anthony's strange behavior all that more.

In Grace's opinion, dreaming about time traveling is no excuse for getting out of practice with his Eridian. To the rest of the Petrova Taskforce, it seems a bit odd that their resident Astrophage expert has suddenly taken to carrying a keyboard around and playing it whenever he speaks. Eva Stratt resolves to figure out what is going on.
