Summary
“What do we know about this new guy, anyway?” Jack mutters
“That’s what I’m about to find out,” Robby replies, “alright, Dennis Whitaker MD, transferring from being senior attending at Pine Ridge Hospit—”
“Good timing,” Jack grumbles, “they just shut down.”
“I guess,” Robby scratches his beard, “fifty-two years old, completed a fellowship in emergency medicine at the Nebraska Medical Center in two thousand and six and another fellowship in rural emergency medicine at the Geisinger Medical Center in two thousand and nine."
“Oh,” Jack snickers, “I like this guy already,” he grumbles, “double specialization? that’s badass.”
Robby needs to get a fucking grip.
He can’t be attracted to his colleague like this, he can’t.

Summary
Robby has been harboring an unwanted crush on Dennise Whitaker since the first day of her ER rotation; when she comes back for her residency, it worsens.
“You’re crushing on her, brother,” Jack murmurs, “crushing hard.”
“I’m not crushing,” Robby scoffs, “I’m fine.”
It makes him feel childish, makes him feel pathetic, makes him feel out of control.
He hates feeling affected like that, but he also really likes it.
It’s a contradiction he has no name for.
Because it’s been a long time since he’s felt this way, and he’s a dirty old man that falls in love with pretty girls half his age.or
MTF Dennise Whitaker AU! Robby is pathetically falling in love with her without realizing she likes him too.

Summary
Robby has gone from barely being able to watch to not wanting to even blink. He can’t keep his eyes from darting down to where Whitaker’s thighs grip the saddle, how he slides forwards on it with every downward bow of the bull and back as it pushes up. Again and again and again, he rolls with the mechanical bull with a single circular fluid motion.
It crosses his mind that this might be one of the hottest things he’s ever seen. He doesn’t even try to unpack that thought, it doesn’t even feel like an opinion he can change. It’s just a fact. Whitaker on the mechanical bull is one of the hottest things he’s ever seen.

It’s Javadi’s twenty-first birthday party and the Pitt team hit the cowboy themed bar downtown. Whitaker gets on the mechanical bull.
One thing leads to another.
