    After that, Shadow and Silver teamed up to fix the future, until finally Shadow the Hedgehog died and regressed back to the past. Shadow’s vow is to prevent the death of the blue hedgehog. Can he do it?

    Or maybe destiny is playing a toy with him, making him realize some feeling that he thought he never felt it towards Sonic.

    Summary

    Silver arrives in the past in an attempt to stop another ruined future from happening, this time the culprit being an entity of darkness known as Mephiles. Silver is able to get help from Espio to stop Mephiles' plans as Espio makes the decision to seal the entity of darkness into himself. Once Silver returns to the future, he finds it in an even worse state than it was before. Not only that, but he finds Espio still alive and very different from the chameleon he remembered from the past. Now Silver must figure out what happened to cause this future to turn to ruins while also trying to reason with an Espio who's changed drastically from the chameleon he knew before.
