Luo Binghe has been acting a little strange.
Well— not strange in the traditional sense. He’s not been acting moody, nor has he been acting irritable or rude or secretive. Instead, he’s been… respectful. In the way he talks, in the way he touches, in the distance that he keeps. And the fact that he’s keeping distance to begin with.
While Shen Qingqiu theoretically should appreciate the breathing space, in reality it’s been sort of irritating. More than anything, he wants to know why Luo Binghe has stopped properly taking him to bed.

“This husband didn’t mean to ignore his wife,” Somehow Luo Binghe manages to sound contrite as he says this, even though he’s in the midst of screwing Shen Qingqiu’s brains out. Truly, he is too good an actor! “But every time I saw you, I thought of how you looked like, moving against the sheets, calling for me, wrapped in my robes, making a mess in them and not even knowing it…”
Shen Qingqiu can feel the heat radiate off his face as it turns bright red at the words. Luo Binghe presses a sweet kiss to his cheek and leaves his lips there, the gentle touch belying the way he’s quickly working Shen Qingqiu over the edge.
“Okay,” Shen Qingqiu pants, trying to clutch onto something, anything as he melts into Luo Binghe’s embrace. “Okay— you don’t need to elaborate—”
“My wife’s countenance can be weak,” Luo Binghe soothes in a voice as dark as it is sweet, as he fucks in so deep that Shen Qingqiu swears he feels him in his throat. “And I knew if I were to indulge, I would not be able to hold back. This one had to practice immense self control in order not to ruin you.”
