Summary
A near-grimace passed over Olruggio’s face, creasing his brow for a moment, then he closed his eyes. Released from the need for facade, Qifrey let his smile loosen, and gazed, and gazed.
What made sense to the man enduring such entitled, irreverent behaviour, beyond the obvious? What could Olruggio reasonably think, other than supposing he simply wasn’t wanted as anything more than a dalliance? A spot of fun?
One of Olruggio and Qifrey's many, many "late night delights," where the delight is all too brief. Based off a fanart + that promo image of them hanging out in Olly's atelier.

They move and shift until Olruggio is able to lean back against the pool’s edge, with Qifrey tucked between his legs. To be surrounded by him like this, his arms folded across Qifrey’s chest and his legs bracketing Qifrey’s hips, is a feeling unlike anything else. There’s a sense of safety and comfort in the embrace of a lover, who, without speaking, manages to convey a single message: I’m here and I love you, I’m not going anywhere else.

“Look,” Olruggio's voice finally shattered the stillness, “we don't have to talk about it. We don't have to put a name to it.” He took a step toward Qifrey, swallowing the space between them in a single stride. Qifrey's heart hammered against his sternum as Olruggio's eyes searched his lone iris.
Olly slid his hand around the back of Qifrey's neck and tugged him closer. It wasn't a forceful tug, it was more of a suggestion — one that Qifrey followed without hesitation. It had always been far too easy for him to fall into Olruggio's orbit.
If Qifrey was the moon, Olruggio was the tide he pulled with beckoning hands; the tide he would drown in gladly with a smile on his face all the while.
“Just one night. That's all I will ask of you,” Olruggio pleaded, practically begged.
