1968. Paul is losing John to Yoko. His relationship with Jane (and seemingly everyone) is falling apart. He doesn’t know what to do, or what went wrong.
Except, in this AU, Brian is still alive and doing his job - keeping Lennon and McCartney together.

They say that every cell in your body will have regenerated before seven years are up. Seven years ago, John was curled around Yoko in the lens of Annie Leibowitz's camera, bones pushing out through his skin like tree-roots and his mouth on her cheek sincere and sure, a promise. Seven years ago, John's body had already half-forgotten Paul's, if this old wives' science is true. If it's true, Paul and Yoko have another thing in common, now.
