Julien sighs again. The hand stills.
“Well, when I say I have personally rid the world of all Tachonis heirs, I want to be right.”
“My family disowned me,” Occtis replies. Flatly. His family killed him.
“You are still a Tachonis,” Julien retorts, just as matter-of-factly.
This time, Occtis is able to roll over, face to face with Julien. Of all the places he thought he’d end up when Thaisha Lloy had asked for his assistance in Venatus, lying in bed with the notoriously promiscuous Sir Julien Davinos was not one of them. The fact he is here out of choice, and because he wants to be, would have been so far out of believability to be laughable.

“Qifrey?” he asks, softer. “She’ll be alright, nothin’ more ‘n a cold, if you ask me.”
This time, Qifrey does blink, turning his head to belatedly look at Olruggio. “Yes. Yes, she’s a strong one, that Agott. I do hope I haven’t… put her in harm’s way today.”
“Oh pssh,” Olruggio counters, sitting down heavily on the couch. “‘Harm’s way’? Yer makin’ it sound like you let her get hit by lightnin’, or somethin’. She got a bit damp, that’s all.”
“A bit damp. Yes, I suppose so,” Qifrey replies, with a sad little chuckle.
Qifrey gets like this sometimes. Distant, disconnected. Stars know Olruggio’s only as good at recognising it because he knows he does it too, but that’s besides the point. Qifrey gets like this, and he tends to get fairly cagey when Olruggio asks.

Ender’s absence from the role was not broadcast, two years ago. Perhaps foolishly, but Blaze cannot spend too much time dwelling on hindsight. Stars know she does anyway. No, Ender’s departure was treated as normal, kept secret so as not to alarm those who the matter should not concern. Witch problems stay between witches, it is the way of the world, the way of the Pact.
This is no longer just a ‘witch problem’.

“Of course not. We, his people, are asking you to date him. He’s going to have to get on board, if he wants his career to survive. And in the bargain, Riot will get all sorts of publicity, because their lyricist will be dating one of the industry’s hottest stars. A win for everyone.”
When Kirishima Eijirou's band hits the big time, he's not prepared for his newfound fame. He's even less prepared to meet the actor he's been crushing on for years, or to start dating him as a publicity stunt. The closer Kirishima gets to Bakugou Katsuki, the more he realizes he's in over his head. But it's hard to stop, once his heart is in it.
