Summary
By the time Daniel leaves his room with bags in hand, he's convinced that he's made it out of the vampire lair alive and with the story of a lifetime. He even pauses on his way out to pick up a few papers he missed on the floor and the burned husk of his laptop.
A disembodied power flings him across the room. The drywall cracks with the force of it and before he even hits the floor, Armand is lifting him up again.
