    Summary

“Alright,” says Haru, stuffing his hands into his jacket pockets. “Let’s see this mythical hotel where two men hanging around all day isn’t going to raise any red flags.”

Kambe looks at him, raising his eyebrows. Then turns his eyes skyward. Haru follows the line of his gaze.

Sunshine Love Hotel! Reads the sign above them.

    “Abso-lutely not,” says Haru.

    Summary

    Haru Katou says he's fine.

He says it when the nerve damage in his arm worsens. He says it when he drops his pen in front of witnesses. He says it when Daisuke watches him too closely but says nothing at all.

Daisuke Kambe notices things: that Haru’s hand isn’t moving, that he’s started arriving exactly on time instead of early, that the silences between them have shifted. But observation isn’t the same as action. And when Haru finally begins to pull away, Daisuke realizes he may have waited too long to speak.
