I opened my heavy eyelids and was immediately blinded by florescent lights. I squeezed my eyes shut and took in a deep breath. The sharp smell of hospital sanitiser filled my nostrils. I opened my eyes slowly, squinting as not to be blinded again. I blinked quickly to rid my eyes of the few tears lodged in them and started to take in my surroundings.

Robert reaches his limit with Flambae’s temper when his work performance starts to threaten civilian lives. After the last incident, he owes a report that will end Flambae’s hero career.
At the end of his rope, Flambae is willing to try anything to stop the report, and prove to Robert that he’s capable of self control. So in a last ditch effort, Robert sets up a test that will challenge it: seven days of total, immediate, and non-negotiable obedience.
Flambae doesn’t realize what he’s signed up for from the seemingly quiet dispatcher.
