Summary
Sanji is willing to do whatever it takes after accidentally bringing danger to his Nakama and being kicked off his crew, be it temporarily joining the Heart Pirates or going undercover in a marine base.
Trafalgar Law's main goal is to protect his crew members during a daring mission to save the Straw Hats, going as far as faking Sanji's death without his knowledge.
Sometime in the middle of their rushed arrangement, Law and his crew starts seeing Sanji as less of a guest on their ship, and more as one of their own.

Back on the sea post-Wano, his crew are aware of his past and of the cruelties he lived with as a kid. That doesn't make it easier for them to see the effects of this for themselves.
