Summary
Levi was no stranger to nightmares. He’d had them a lot as a young boy, most revolved around his mother’s death and the stillness of her body in the last moments he saw her. Then, after he’d served, his nightmares became about his time with people who died far too early, the blood that stained his hands.
But, throughout all that, he’d had other nightmares too. About a world with giant man-eating creatures, a world with all of the people he loved so dearly and most of them were gone.

No one remembered Peter Parker. That’s how it was now and that was how Peter hoped it’d stay.
He’d gotten a flat near the old one he shared with Aunt May, he remained surrounded by the people he’d known his whole life who had no idea who he was until it killed part of his soul and he forced himself to move to a new flat in a random attic someplace. The handshakes and loud greetings were gone, given to someone more deserving than the monster Peter Parker was.

Eren had to steel every single one of his nerves once Mikasa rung the doorbell, "Are you sure we can't leave now?" he muttered from his spot huddled behind Mikasa.
"Yes, I'm sure, Eren," Mikasa sighed, fighting the amused smile that tugged her lips, which she knew would only make Eren feel even worse about the situation, "Look, you got along with my papa anyway didn't you?"
"Got along with is a bit of a stretch, but yeah, he tolerated me," Eren nodded, his usually steady hands shaking around the bouquet in his clammy hands. Somehow, Eren - a med student - was practically catatonic when it came to meeting the parents of his partner, he didn't know how yet but, this was definitely Zeke's fault.

Levi thought that he had a good memory, but when Armin had asked that question, he realised something horrifying. Surely, that couldn't be right, Erwin would've said something, right?
Then again, Erwin's been busier and busier at the school and Levi hasn't had it exactly easy, getting the café up and running off the ground. Levi went over his mental calendar and, sure enough, wedged between the early mornings and late nights and time spent pouring over bank statements and Mikasa's stomach bug, there it was. Their anniversary.
