"Buck?"
Seems he's not the only one having trouble resting tonight.
"Where is he?"
The fingers clamping down on him get tighter before he can answer.
"Tell me where he is. Please, just tell me, I need him to figure out how to get out of here, he's the only one who can—"
"Hey, it's okay, who are you looking for?"
"I—Bobby, he, he helped me get out of here last time, he's supposed to be here somewhere—"
Oh.
Oh, Buck.or, Buck has a night-terror and Bobby is there, for the crash and the aftermath.

Summary
He stood there, unmoving, as he contemplated the option of turning back and leaving the cemetery. He let himself wonder, briefly closing his eyes, sparing himself the sight of the tombstone for one, blissful moment. Then, he opened them again, his gaze immediately drifting to the dates elegantly engraved on the marble.
26 February 1975 – 25 February 2018
He didn’t need to glance at his phone to know what day it was. He had been staring at the calendar in Baker Street for hours the previous night, ever since the clock had stricken midnight.
26 February 2019. A year and one day.
Sherlock ignored the way his eyes stung as he read the familiar name, blinking the tears away, refusing to let them fall. The refined cursive calligraphy cruelly stared back at him.
Mycroft Holmes.
Or: Sherlock visits his brother's grave, a year after his death. The day doesn't quite go as planned.

Summary
I am not the hero in this man’s story.
I am far from the hero I believed I was.
These men will not mourn my death. They will dance and sing upon my grave.
I will not be missed. Even the government I spend every moment of my life protecting will not mourn me. They will merely shake their heads and sigh before finding the next Mycroft Holmes to fill my responsibilities.
The people I have saved countless times at the expense of so many others do not even know of my existence. I will receive no day of mourning; not even a small mention in the newspaper. There will be no silent vigil, no flowers. There will not even be a grave.
