Summary
As was the case with most things these days, Halbrand smelled the intruder before he caught sight of her. Roused from the depths of a much needed post meal nap, it took him a moment to shake off the last vestiges of sleep that clung like stalactites to his limbs, every grumble and groan out of his mouth cursing the fact that the forest he had now spent years cultivating into an apparent state of desolation had proved no match for a highly determined, golden haired village girl.

Summary
Not that she didn’t want him there, no, she did, she realized somewhat begrudgingly, but she couldn’t take the thought of Celebrían having to face even more comments about Galadriel’s status as single mother at school. Any more comments than her daughter already did, at least. Galadriel could only imagine how much worse the comments would get if she brought Halbrand to the play, because everyone else around them would assume it was a date, because it wouldn’t be a date but because maybe Galadriel wanted it to be one, because everyone in Armenelos seemed to know that Halbrand was her regular, even if he wasn’t hers in any way that truly mattered.
Halbrand is a trucker, Galadriel is a waitress at his favorite diner.

Summary
“Is this the void?” he finally asked, fearfully.
Galadriel huffed. “Why would this be the void?”
He peered at her from beneath his lashes, the faint shadow of a discernible smirk forming upon his lips. “Because, you can only be here to torment me,” he replied, his crooked smile growing before he added a single word: “Galadriel.”

After the War of the Ring, Galadriel receives an unexpected visitor in Valinor. But only for one night…
(A Martanis in Valinor oneshot, but don't be fooled! This is a post-canon AU, so he did still very much Do All That.)
