    There is silence through the phone. Long enough for Scott to wonder if Jean Grey hung up. Scott is about to call her again when she speaks in a harsh tone. 
    “What do you mean?”
    “Tomorrow. It’s his—”
    “Scott Summers. If you’re just casually mentioning that there is a birthday today. His birthday… like right now—”
    “August 10th. Well, today for you, considering the time zone—”
    “This isn’t funny!”
    “I’m not trying to be funny!”
    “He would have told me!” Jean says in distress. “He should have told me. Why didn’t he tell me?”
    “Look, I don’t know. But I’m telling you now.”
    There is silence on the end again, and Scott is debating if it’s the international distance that’s making the lag.
    “I’m on my way. Contact the team and get them ready. I’ll be back soon.”
    “Grey, you’re halfway across the world.”
    “So I’ll be back tonight. Get to work.”
