"Claremont-Diaz," Hunter said, offering a tight smile before pivoting his attention to Henry. "And...wow. Your boyfriend is handsome."
Every single alarm bell in Alex’s brain went off. "What do you mean 'wow'?"

Summary
Alex sits up and turns his body so he’s facing Henry fully. Henry seems to sense Alex has a point he’s about to painstakingly elaborate on and mirrors his body language, crossing his legs and lacing one of their hands. “In case you didn’t know where this was going, I wanna take you to the arcade.”
“I deduced that,” Henry said with a half smirk, “but why?”
Alex fiddles with Henry’s long piano playing fingers. “You said you never had one of those … what did you call it? Quintessential coming-of-age date experiences. Or at least never a real one. Well, I want to rectify that.”
Henry’s face softens. A little smile plays on his lips as he takes Alex’s other hand and squeezes. “Alright,” he agrees, “what does this arcade date consist of? Tell me everything, love.”

“Manage…what?”
“Well, to pin down the Prince, for lack of a more decent term. Though perhaps it’s apt.”

“Excuse me?”

Summary
Henry holds up another male figure on screen, saying it’s “Pip” before moving its limbs to make it sit like the other figures and places it next to Bea’s in the row he’s forming.
Arthur hums behind the camera, “And which one are you?” He asks.
Henry hold up a smaller figure, a prince wearing a golden crown in his blonde hair. It actually kind of looks like Henry. “Yes, this one’s your favourite isn’t it, Darling?” Henry considers briefly, scrunching his face lightly like he still does when he can’t decide which throw pillow he likes more for their sofa.He shakes his head slightly, placing the prince down and grabbing a cowboy that came in the set with ‘Arthur’ the sheriff. He fiddles with it on his lap, his head down. He doesn’t show it to his Dad. The camera zooms in to the cowboy briefly before zooming back out and turning around to face Arthur, his smug, grinning face taking up the whole screen and turns back to Henry.

“Your hair, it’s kinda long. Did your stylist go on sabbatical or something?”
Henry froze. His smug grin belied a sudden nervousness.
“Er, it’s nothing big.” He shook his head, turned around to the wall mirror to tie his tie. “I’ve…I’ve just decided to let it grow out. A bit.”
Henry decides to grow out his hair. Alex loses his mind (in the best way).

HRH Prince Henry of Wales and his boyfriend, FSOTUS Alex Claremont-Diaz, arrive at the Okonjo Foundations Brooklyn Youth Center ahead of a gala. The center is celebrating its eight-month anniversary (Pez will turn any occasion into a party), hoping to raise awareness and funds for LGBTQ+ youth at the shelter and in the city.
The night kicks off spectacularly. Multiple entertainment news reporters line a red carpet, at least two dozen A-List celebrities show their faces, and the Super Six are all together in one place again.
But then a gunman opens fire, and someone finds themself in the company of Arthur Fox.

Summary
Henry swipes away useless ads and news articles. Right when he’s about to lock his phone and toss it onto the cushion beside him, he sees it - a Ring app notification, with a timestamp that reads now.
Henry taps on it quickly, with more strength than expected. The phone flips out of his hand and lands in his lap, dangerously close to David’s snout. The beagle huffs, turning his face a bit further away from Henry’s belly. Henry pets softly behind his ears in apology, then picks his phone back up eagerly.
The joy that radiates through Henry momentarily at the first sight of Adonis is immediately replaced with dread once Henry actually looks at the man. His curls look unruly, more so than usual, as if he’s been brushing his fingers through them. His jaw has a tight and uncomfortable-looking clench to it, and he’s not looking directly into the camera this time.

“What the fuck?” Liam mutters under his breath, not able to stop the words from tumbling out of his mouth. The stranger on the bed startles, somehow not having heard Liam fall through the window. When the guy finally turns, it feels a little like Liam has been sucker punched in the chest. The guy is possibly the most striking person he’s seen in real life.
...
“Oh. Um. Hello.” The stranger says, looking warily at Liam. Liam is sure he looks much the same, gaping like a particularly unattractive fish. It’s not that he thought Alex was lying about having a boyfriend, but he’d always been this amorphous blob in Liam’s mind—like this intangible thing that was real but he couldn’t see. Now, though? He is very real, very present, and very much has a fresh bite mark on his neck bonding him to, presumably, his best friend for life.OR; five times people found out that Alex and Henry are bonded, and one time the whole school finds out.

“He loves me,” is the first thing Henry says after Arthur asks what’s got him so torn up.
“Okay,” Arthur says, as if it was a given. Mostly because it was.
Henry turns his head to the side, a confused expression on his face. “Okay?”
“Oh,” Arthur stares back, just as confused. “Did we not know this?”
“We?” Henry asks, bewildered.
“I guess not, then.”

Alex blinks down at his hands again, studying the lines more carefully. The marks are faded, like they were made days ago, and they’re not painful so much as irritated, like they weren’t made by his own hands. He touches one of the marks, and there’s only the slightest sting in response.
No, definitely not his.
And if the marks aren’t his, then they must be—
It hits him like a slap in the face, his breath catching in his throat. He pushes back from his desk and stares at his skin for so long that he gets a little cross-eyed.

After officially moving into the Brownstone together, Henry tries to arrange the corner room he’s turned into an office and personal library, but his efforts are over-shadowed by a heavy grief that his father is not there to join him, a tradition they used to share whenever they moved into a new home while he was growing up.
In comes Alex with his classic charm (and a few fun dirty jokes) to help Henry remember that his father’s presence lingers in the pages of the books, memories and love he left behind.

Summary
Alex has had an absolutely shitty day at work. Every email, phone call and interaction with difficult coworkers has just added to the stress. And then, Hunter screwed up on an important case and Alex had to fix the entire mess.
So when he flops down on his seat in the train, all he wants to do is sit in silence and decompress. Maybe stare out the window disassociating, while he thinks about the leftovers he has waiting for him in his fridge. His stomach rumbles with hunger because he also doesn’t remember eating anything after lunch, except a stale cookie and cold coffee.
But then, he sees the dog.
It's a beagle and it's standing in the aisle beside the seat just in front of Alex, all floppy ears and puppy dog eyes, and he might just fall in love at first sight.

He really shouldn’t dwell on such things, but Lestat can’t help but wonder how many of his two hundred and sixty-four birthdays have gone like this—either uncelebrated or unnoticed. A hundred birthdays passed in the dirt, eighty spent mourning the life he ruined. At least twenty human birthdays that went unnoticed before he met Nicki. So, around two hundred in total—the majority of them, sadly.
He'd hoped to spend the evening with Louis.
