And… he likes it, for some reason. He likes being Red Robin, the woman. The idea of Red Robin being a man fills him with an echoing sense of wrongness. Maybe it's because he created the identity as a woman, but for whatever reason, the idea of it throws him off.
(Maybe he can have this. Maybe, after a year of self destruction for the sake of others, he can have something for himself. Even if he doesn't understand why he wants it.)
So when Tim suits up for patrol for the first time since he left to travel the world, he keeps the costume as it is, minus the cowl.
Red Robin is a woman. Tim drake is not, though. It takes a bit for her to figure it out.

Summary:

It's been eleven and a half years. Cora is a memory of a memory in Law's heart by now, the only proof of his existence the smile on Law's chest and back and ship and crew. Law had no pictures, no mementos, nothing he could hold outside of himself as a remnant of another person. And the trouble with memory is that it slips between your fingers like sand. It's been five years since Law knew for sure what Cora's voice sounded like.
"Mayday, mayday, mayday," the voice chants, and even though Law couldn't remember until now, he knows. That's Cora's voice. That's what Cora sounded like.
The Sancho Panza is sinking, and the Polar Tang must race twenty-two miles in two hours to save fourteen children and a voice from beyond the grave.
