Well, she doesn’t know when it starts, is the problem. She doesn’t know if it’s been happening for a while, and she just doesn’t wear a watch, or if that was the first time it happened. Charlie can’t remember what she’d been doing before that either, only that when she comes back to herself, she’s seated at a table outside of the Starbucks around the corner from Fairyland, cup of coffee long gone cold in her hand.
She doesn’t remember buying it. She doesn’t remember walking here, either.
Well. Shit.

Summary
It is almost a nice picnic. Later, Charlie would chuckle and say that she’s sure the sandwiches that Pete had made would have been really nice, if they hadn’t been set on fire. Pete would scoff, and say they’d definitely have been nice, and they can try it again another time, once he gets ahold of a new blanket.
Or, Charlie and Pete are interrupted on their date by familiar faces.
