It’s a surprise when a Federation Starfleet officer turns up in the Dominion prison camp that has, to date, mostly contained Cardassian and Romulan intelligence operatives. Everyone knows what they say about Federation types, and about humans in particular. Martok has laughed along with all the usual jokes and never once expected it to become… relevant.
Maybe all that Starfleet ingenuity and, well, ““creativity””, could be focused on solving the problem of how to get laid when you’re surrounded by enemies and can’t afford the normal, wholesome injuries that are an inevitable by-product of healthy, respectable Klingon sex.

But on the day the symposium ends, Sisko is contacted by the facilitator of the resort who reports that Julian checked in, attended the first day of the symposium and hasn't been seen since. And with no indication of foul play or trouble that would make the Risan authorities treat the disappearance as an extremely urgent matter, Jadzia is given permission by Sisko to go to Risa to look for the missing Julian. They have had a lot of wine, which is probably why he's telling this story, and probably why another Cardassian gets mentioned, and Julian too, and most definitely why Miles forgets himself and mentions all the times he's seen them arguing.
“They...argue?” Keiko's voice is very quiet.
“Yes, I was just saying…” Oh. Oh no. “You don’t think?”
And suddenly the two of them are involved in his best friend's love life, which Miles is most definitely (not) regretting.

“Fix it, please”, Harry begged, his hands shaking and desperately trying to hold onto Sirius’s arm. He can’t imagine letting go, letting his lifejacket drop when everything around him is trying to get him to drown.
“Fix what?” Sirius whispered back, eyes moving frantically over his godson’s pitying form. He holds Harry back just as feverishly, like by holding him he’ll be able to make a path through the sea just so Harry can safely get to the other side.
Harry’s eyes move to stare into his godfathers. Harry hasn’t cried since shortly after his sorting, but he can feel the tears come. He takes in the worried lines between Sirius’s brows. He looks better since the summer, Harry thinks approvingly. At least someone has been able to improve.
