Bunting was strung up across the storefronts and zig-zagged above the road, each individual piece of cloth material shaped like a heart. Valentines decorations; seemingly, Medali took it seriously? That's what Kieran could assume, at least.
He'd never really felt much about the holiday himself. At most, people in Kitakami would give loved ones flowers and hand-made gifts, and Kieran had never had a reason to celebrate it.
He still didn't, no matter how much he wished he did; especially when Florian seemed to like the holiday a lot. Kieran wanted him to be happy.
