Summary
He and Freddy weren’t anything. Just best friends and roommates, and though Billy was getting off in Freddy’s bunk to the idea of him, the fact that Freddy was currently hanging out with his long-time fuck buddy said the feeling wasn't mutual.

Summary
A little sleepy and a little slow, but good enough for the first time.
Not because Billy didn't want more, or thought he didn't deserve it, but because he knew now that he did. And he knew there would be so many more times just like this one, so for now it was enough.

Summary
Jamie gives him an awkward, charming little wave. “Hiya Will, you all right, yeah?” Then he shoves Roy’s shoulder with an exasperated huff. “What the fuck, you didn’t do a Will check?”
“You were the first one in the room! First person in the boot room’s meant to do the Will check.”
“Yeah, well, that’s the first I’ve heard that rule.” Jamie rolls his eyes before turning back to Will. The nerves at being caught seem to have vanished, from him if not Roy, and he gives Will a once-over that makes him squirm. “What are we gonna do with you, William?”

Summary
“The musical My Fair Lady,” Beard says, not lowering his book, “is based on the 1913 play Pygmalion by Irish playwright George Bernard Shaw, which is in turn based on the Greek myth of the sculptor Pygmalion.”
“So?”
“Pygmalion—” Beard’s looking at him from over his book now with that nonplussed stare—“sculpts a statue he finds so perfect that he falls in love with his creation.”
Roy finds himself glancing back through the doorway just as Jamie pulls off his shirt, pausing to fix his hair in the mirror before he opens the locker to grab his kit.
When Roy turns around, Beard’s buried in his book again.
“Right.” Roy frowns and shuts the door.

Summary
Bill Tartt is smaller in person than he’d looked in the picture, smaller than he is in Jamie’s memory. He’s skinny and old, like James, but the uncanny likeness between all three of them is there, even stiffened in death. The stubborn set of the jaws, the forceful cleft chins, the slope of the brows. Bill and James and Jamie all lying dead in a casket and all staring down at a corpse, a shifting, blurring Tartt shadow that pervades the atmosphere, choking everything in its wake.
—
A funeral reunites Jamie with the Tartt side of the family. As memories resurface, Jamie is forced to reckon with his father’s legacy and its place in the family he’s created for himself.Bookmarked by halflightwrites

Summary
The energy of the room shifts suddenly as Jamie’s eyes widen. It’s as though he’s just waking up, looking around quickly to get his bearings straight- as if he doesn’t remember coming to Roy’s house at all. Maybe he doesn’t. When his startled expression finally lands on Roy just off to the side, Jamie’s eyebrows raise even though his shoulders relax. He looks down at the bath again.
“What’s this?” Jamie asks as he combs a hand through the beer head of bubbles on top of the water.
“A bubble bath,” Roy says gruffly. He stares straight forward at the open-faced cabinet in front of him that has piles of fresh black towels on each shelf.
A pause. “You put me in a bubble bath?”
