    "Okay?"

    "I'm done."

    Steph's head snaps toward him.

"Like you're going to kill yourself, you're going to quit, or…?"

    Summary

The thing is, Sheila is sorry. She made a mistake, a very big mistake, but it's not like he doesn't have any responsibility in it, either. And really, how many times must she apologize before he understands she's really trying here? He's lucky, really, to get a second chance at having a mother, after losing the first. What would Bruce and Dick think, if they knew he was wasting this opportunity and being ungrateful? She saved his life, after all. So why can't he get past it?
Jason's trying, he really is. But it would be so much easier, if only she would stop smoking.

"There are a few things involved in setting up a trust other than funding it, and I think you're old enough to be involved."

    "Okay," Jason said. "Like what?"

"Well," Bruce said, "mostly, what happens to the money when you die. It's just a precaution, but it's necessary to make it legal."

    Summary

The thing about Jason's decision to make up with his family is that now he's trying to make up with his family. He's never done anything like this before. He's got the feeling that his family's actually been pretty crap in some ways. He's got the feeling that he's sabotaging his own efforts.

Turns out, that much anger - his own, and his family's - doesn't go away just like that.
