Summary
“Do you want to hold him?” Konomi asked after Byakuya had been there maybe ten minutes.
Byakuya immediately panicked. “I’ve never held a baby before.”
“You’ll survive,” she said dryly.
Then, before he could argue further, she carefully lifted Senku from the bassinet and deposited him into Byakuya’s arms with the confidence of someone far too sleep-deprived to care about his nerves.
Byakuya froze.
Senku was absurdly small, but warm and surprisingly heavy despite it, wrapped tightly in a pale blanket patterned with tiny stars. His cheeks were round and soft, his little fists tucked stubbornly near his face. A month old and still somehow looking deeply excited to be alive already.

Summary
Throughout his life, Senku deterred from being caught up in meaningless interactions. But today, his father blindsided him with a surprise that even he didn’t foresee.
“Do you remember my acquaintances from the university’s science department?” Byakuya asked. His eyes gleamed with excitement as he held up a cream-coloured envelope. “They’re hosting the opening ceremony and gala for the new planetarium! They gave us invitations to come as their guests. Pretty cool, eh?”
Senku kept his expression neutral and tone bored as he replied, “A gala? Those are overpriced parties that the rich use to inflate their own egos. I can’t believe you’re being swept up in such nonsense.”
Byakuya laughed. “Ouch, scorched by my own son! Actually, I was expecting a harsher rebuttal from you. Maybe it’s because you’re stoked about seeing the planetarium before the rest of the public?”

Summary
Byakuya hadn't exactly planned on becoming a father. He felt more like he owed it to the memory of his friend to take Senku in.
But Senku was an incredible kid. Clever and enthusiastic and resourceful and yet still needing a guiding hand to stop him from doing things that would probably end with him getting killed. And between stargazing and bleach, microscopes and marker ink, model rocket launches and actual astronaut training, Byakuya really started to believe that he could do this.

Summary
Finally getting a break from training, Byakuya visits Japan in order to spend some time with his son. Starngely enough, Senku seems a bit off as they do some much needed catching up.
Of course, starting his vacation, Byakuya had imagined spending some quality time with his son. But h'd definitely not counted on the kid getting violently ill in the middle of the night.
