A sound finally came out of Mickey’s mouth, as his hands reached for his belt without hesitation or his permission: he whimpered.
It wasn’t even on purpose. He was trying to say Please don’t do this but he still couldn’t form words, and so all that came out was a thin little squeak from his paralyzed vocal cords. His belt jangled brightly in the relative silence of the room, now that conversation had temporarily ceased; the sound of his zipper was loud and vulgar. Everyone's eyes trained on it and Mickey wished he could die again.
“Well?” Odette was expectant. “Are you not an entertainer, son? Give us a show. Reach into your underwear and touch yourself for us. Your father wants to see what it looks like when it’s hard.”

Odette isn't Mickey's birth mother. She stole him from the life and family he had, and made him into a vampire like herself. She's never been very motherly, and it's not really a son she wants:
