Important trivia: (1) Dragonfire is the first episode with Ace. (2) They used to sell skinny little paperback novelisations of every single episode. (I had a friend who owned ALLL of them. I think they started doing that again a few years ago?)
(3) I think the notes here might be longer than the actual story.

And the embarrassment creeps back in.
“Just - was wondering if you were leaving soon.” Tim clears his throat and it scrapes him up, choking on gravel. “I could use a lift.”
“You don’t have a ride?” Roy asks gently.
Oh, please don’t ask me that question. He did at one point, but he left him in the hallway where the music doesn’t reach, probably waiting for Tim to come back with muttered apologies insincere on his lips - or to slap him in the face, or something. He’s really trying not to do either here.
