They look at him like a monster, they treat him like something less than human.
Bryan knows he came out of Raccoon City changed, that nothing anyone says or do can ever bring back the life that had been before.
Instead Bryan must find a new way to live, he must relearn what it means to be human when the world insists he no longer is. When only one man still looks at him and sees what had been. Who he was before Umbrella, the virus, the mutations.

“RCG01 successfully sedated, moving in for restraints.” Two people move closer, there are hands on his body.His mouth fills with cotton, his words slur, “wats’ hap’n.” The world is going fuzzy again, “Le-on…?” Before it falls out completely, he catches a few words; unstable, volatile, specimen.
None of them makes sense in the moment.

In which Bryan is having a horrible night, but he gets to Maxine in time to take her keys and her radio, so he gets to send one final message into the void: “Bryan Hodukavich… finishing delivery.” And he gets to cringe to himself, but at least the world knows: “Soon to be dead.” He expects no answer, which is, of course, why from the other side it comes: “This is Officer Kennedy. Do you copy? Bryan? Are you still there?”
Now, they just have to meet… easy, right?
