For the briefest of moments, he watches the look of confusion on her face when she doesn’t see him, and then annoyance as she spins around to find him—and then surprise, when she looks up and sees him floating a full ten meters above her, his eyes glowing blue, his body wreathed in blue fire.
“What the fuck?” she murmurs.
He just smiles and says, “Catch me.”
He closes his eyes, the blue energy disappears, and he falls.
